Simple Ways To Relieving Stress And Anxiety In Our Lives

Why are we so stressed, why are we so full of anxiety these days? Is there so much pressure on us these days that we have to conform to every one else in society that we have forgotten who we are as people and that we have forgotten what we want in our life.It seems life of today is just one big competition of keeping up with the ego.


The media of today are always throwing so many ads on TV on how you can get this great car, stereo, Plasma TV, house, house extension or just more money and buy what you want for this interest free period and how easy it is to get ourselves into more debt. Then there’s more stress and anxiety in our lives because of debt.

People of today have forgotten how to think for themselves, they spend so much time in front of the TV that they don’t have to think, it’s all put in front of them. There are so many subliminal messages coming from the TV. Go do a search on subliminal messages on the TV; you would be surprised on how you are being programmed. Do you want to be programmed?
How about giving up TV all together. I gave up TV 4 years ago now and don’t miss it at all. I gave up newspapers and radio. Now I don’t have the media portraying to me how I feel today I make the decision how I feel today. People ask me but how do you know what’s going in the world? If I really want to know I can look it up on the internet and I read the story for myself, you always know what’s going on around the world but you know what you want to know not what the media thinks you should know.

Yes we do have choices and options in this world and if we are in control of what is being fed to our brains then the less anxiety and stress we are going to have in our lives because we are taking control. Wouldn’t it be an interesting concept that if we had a no TV for a week campaign.

So what do you do instead of TV, how about some music, think about it, when one of your favorite songs come on the radio how do you feel, you feel great and you smile. Then there are other songs that can make you feel sad. So if music can do that to you what is TV doing to you. So for a week try playing all your favorite music every night for a week, play music that is relaxing while you unwind from work and eat your dinner don’t watch the news.

Then after dinner you can play high vibration music and turn it up loud let the music vibrate through your body dance around the house and sing, the worst that can happen while you’re doing this is you will probably let go, let go of what? Well that’s it isn’t? Let go of all that doesn’t really matter anyway and you will feel good again and that’s what is important it’s about you not anyone else. Learn to let go it’s the only way to go in getting rid of stress and anxiety in your life.

Mind Movies - Create Your New Future By Reprogramming Your Mind

Have you ever really wanted to create or change something in your life and as much as you try with the affirmations and the positive thinking it just doesn't seem to work.

So when you watch a movie like the secret it gives you all new hope again about creating or changing what you want in your life and you start again.
When we have programmed ourselves to think a certain way and we keep thinking that way until one day we say to ourselves I don't want that any more I want this. So now try and think the new way but the old way just keeps over riding the old way. This is what's called being hard wired in the brain we have put emotional feelings to that thought pattern and now our body has a chemical reaction to that thought every time we think it.

Try this: think of what you would really like to create in your life, have a good think, what happens to your body is there any reaction, if there is it's hardwired its now got a chemical reaction in the body.

• So how do we change this and start creating what we want? By reprogramming our sub conscious mind.• How do we change the subconscious mind by bypassing the conscious that argues and says you can't have it?

I have been looking into subliminal for quite a while because I now have an understanding of how I need to re train the subconscious mind. I have been stuck in lack and struggle for so long and no matter what I tried it didn't seem to work so with doing some research I realized I had to reprogram me.

I was a bit skeptical about buying subliminal programs as you really didn't know what they were feeding your brain. I wanted a program that I could create and control what was being fed to my brain.

So after doing some searching I found Mind Movies. What a great program, you are in complete control and you create the whole movie yourself. They take you step by step on how to create the movie and even a complete beginner will be able to do this.

It took about a day to create the whole movie but it was worth the time and when I was finished watching my own creation for the first time I had tears of joy as everything that I want and achieve in my life was up there on my computer screen and I had created this whole movie. It was just one of those moments which I am sure you will experience when you create your first mind movie.

I have been watching my Mind Movie in the morning and at night I am already feeling a whole new attitude towards my life. My life is already starting to change. So are you ready to change your life and create a new future for yourself? I would highly recommend Mind Movies by Ryan Higgins.

Tips for panic attacks

Dealing with anxiety and panic attacks in our everyday life can seem exaushting. We are already dealing with our everyday life and now here comes along this thing that makes you feel you are living your life in fear of another panic attack coming and at times its just feels to much.

So if you just want to do a few things in your life just to start to deal with anxiety and panic attacks in your life here are some tips to do, so you can start feeling better about yourself.• Admit to yourself you have anxiety and you get panic attacks, say it out loud to yourself and say its ok that I have this in my life I am going to deal with it. I am a strong person and its not going to get the better of me.



• Spend time reading about anxiety and panic attacks gain knowledge. Once you understand the physical symptoms and what is happening to your body you will realise that you are not going to die from it. Its just feels like it! Its really amazing how our body works and when you realise that it becomes easier to understand what is exactly happening to us when we are having and anxiety attack.

• Write down on paper what you don’t like about your life. What is bothering you, what are you worried about. Write it all down and then have a look at it, don’t judge yourself and look at the list and I am sure you will realise that the things that are bothering you are really not that big of an issue. My father had a great saying and to this day I still use it in my life, he use to always say “ if your going to panic organise it” so really there is always a solution to the problem.

• Stop worrying about what people think of you. Get a new attitude, does it really matter what people think of you. If people cannot accept you for who you are then they are not worth having in your life.

• Do something each day you enjoy doing, make it a priority in your life, start putting yourself first and not everyone else. At the end of the day you are the most important person in your world and you deserve to be happy. So do some thing that makes you happy. Don’t worry about others, when they see you being happy then they will see you are in control of your life and will respect you more.

• Let Go, just let go, don’t think about the past its already happened you can’t change it, so learn from it and move on. Don’t worry about the future it hasn’t happened yet, so what are you worrying about. Be happy now and be in the present because right here and right now there is nothing to worry about. A great book about being in the present is By Eckhart Tolle Being in the now. It’s a great book, will give you a whole new prospective on life.

• Play music, music has a big effect on us. Notice how a song can bring back sad or happy memories and you will notice a reaction in your body. Ok so now if you put on some music that you enjoy its going to put in a happy mood or just relax you.

Learning to relax is the biggest problem when you have anxiety or panic attacks, you really have to learn how to relax.Well there are just few things you can start doing in your life each day. So stop worrying and start doing. Start putting yourself first in your life, don’t worry about everything else that needs doing it will happen automatically.

Treating Anxiety And Panic Attacks With Hypnosis

You have probably seen so many articles and books recommending hypnosis for treating anxiety and panic attacks. But I am sure a lot of people out there are just wondering well what happens when you go see a hypnotherapist for the first time. If your already in state of anxiety attacks the last thing you need is to be feeling anxious about going to see a hypnotherapist and doing hypnotherapy.

So speaking from experience I thought I would write my experiences so you have some idea what to expect if you decide that this is something for you.
The first thing is they ask you questions about what is going on with your life and what you are experiencing and what you would like to achieve by doing hypnosis. So they can get to know you better and you feel a little bit at ease,

Once that has been discussed they will usually explain what hypnotherapy is about and what is going to happen so you understand the process. Most practitioners have the same method and some have different methods but really hypnotherapy is all about getting you to relax..

So once the formalities are over you usually lay on a couch or suit in a comfortable recliner chair. They will get you to close your eyes and they will start guiding you to relax, by taking deep breaths and relaxing your body. Then once you start relaxing they will just keep getting you more and more relaxed. The first time is always the hardest but try and go with the flow here and just let go. It’s a great experience to let go when you have been so tense from anxiety and panic attacks.

Then once they can see you are relaxed they will start making suggestions in your mind about a way for you to get through this time. They may also get you do some visualizations’ and put you in a place that feels nice to be there. Its all part of getting you to relax. All this usually lasts about 30mins or even longer but the first session is usually only about 30min long.

In the first session you may feel a bit uncomfortable and that’s ok because this is all new territory for you. But remember if you’re making the move to do something about getting rid of anxiety and panic attacks then that’s the most important thing here.

Now if your not comfortable about going and seeing someone for hypnotherapy then there a lot of CDs that you can buy and do it yourself in the comfort of your own home. But I feel that going to see a hypnotherapist at least once you will benefit a great deal because then if you have questions they can be answered while you are there. Then you can could do it at home at your own leisure.

When I suffered anxiety and panic attacks and I was ready to get rid of them this is how it all started for me I started with doing hypnosis then went on to do it by myself at home everyday until they were gone.

Time for Stock Take in your life.

Every year shops and businesses do a stock take of all their products and services and are able to define where there business is going and what profits they have made since their last stock take etc Now we could all say yep ok what has that got to do with me and stress, but have you ever thought about doing that in your own life. Interesting isn’t that if what if we were to take time two to three times a year and do our stock take on our own life.

But I think if we are going to sit and stock take in our lives then are going to have to go at it with an open mind being honest with ourselves about own life. And with out allowing assumptions what other people think of us. It has to be done in way that you are free to do as you wish.
We can get so wrapped up in conforming to what is expected of us and society that we forget about ourselves. We just keep going with the flow of life.

Well just maybe its time we should take time and do a stock on our life and think about all the things we want to do. How many times do you read a storey about someone that is dying or they are old and they are contemplating their lives and thinking about all the things they wished they had done in their life. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but only when you don’t wait till you’re dying and old and its all too late. If we were to do a stock take often then we would be living our lives to the fullest and when we are old we can look back and say hey I did everything I wanted I achieved a lot and I had ago.



So how does this relate to stress in our life? Well if we were living our lives how we wanted and doing what we wanted to do in our lives then we wouldn’t have stress in our life. We would be living in a state of joy and happiness.

So take some time out of your life, away from your everyday life and the people. Take yourself away for a couple of days and sit under a tree and think about what it is you would like to do in your life. Don’t think about oh but what if this, but what if that, it’s not important and really just an excuse of why you’re not going to do it. Ask yourself if I did this or I did that how would I feel, and if you get that excited rush through the body then there is your answer it means go and do it.

So if you want to make some changes in your life and feel hesitant to do it that let me tell you something from experience. Often when we want to make a huge change in our life we hesitate because we are not sure what’s on the other side or how everything will work out. But as soon as you make the decision and you take the leap you don’t look back and everything just changes for the better and you have a whole new world right there before you and you think to yourself why didn’t I do this sooner. So don’t worry about it just do it and it all works out like you never expected.



On a side note here writing this article it reminds of the story in the Movie Pretty Woman. Yes I know it was like a love story but if you look at the guys side this is what he did, he made changes in a whole new direction in his life. This movie is a great example of what I am talking about.

So start doing a stock take on your life now, and start taking action and doing what you want to do in your life, don’t wait till your dying or you’re old. Just Do It Now.
